Why do we need meditation right now?

In this new era of excess information, we all live in a world full of stress. If you feel fatigued even after sleeping, if your mind can't rest, if you can't stop worrying or thinking anxious thoughts, or if you spend your time operating at maximum speed, I recommend mindfulness meditation that can help you reset. Mindfulness meditation is a great way to get away from feeling overwhelmed and can help you to center your mind so that you can live in mindfulness in every moment without worrying about past or future events.

 

It also allows you to make better choices in your daily life by maintaining a simple and clear state of mind. The Nirmal Method of Mindfulness Meditation balances the left and right hemispheres of your brain, bringing your outward-focused awareness inward to the present moment, calming your mind and achieving stillness.

Since scientific evidence demonstrating the benefits of meditation on the mind and body was first published in the United States, meditation has been adopted by many executives, business people and IT professionals, including Steve Jobs.

In recent years, not only people with high stress levels have wanted to improve their mental core, but also a growing number of housewives, students, and other ordinary people have made meditation a part of their daily routine as a form of "mental fitness". In this way a new world leads from your imagination to your creation.

Qualifications

This program is divided into three courses:

Meditation for the Body

Meditation for the Mind

Intermediate

Meditation for Soul (willpower)

Meditation Teacher Test

Upon completion of the Basic Course, students who have completed the Basic Course will receive a certificate, and upon completion of the Intermediate Course and the Meditation Teacher Test, they will be awarded the SUWARU Certified Meditation Teacher Certification.

Only those who have taken the Basic Course are eligible to take the Intermediate Course.

After, you could work with us as a teacher or we could dispatch you to companies. (A separate exam is required.)

Suwaru's course is comprehensive, starting from the basics of meditation into how to practice it.

Web video support is provided after the course so that you can enjoy your meditation every day (for members only).

Follow-up classes are also available if you wish. In this way, our program is designed to help you to "get into the habit of meditation," and everyone can learn how to do this step-by-step, so even beginners can feel comfortable taking our classes.

For those who want to become a meditation teacher

We offer two courses, Basic and Intermediate, for a total of 60 hours to teach you not only meditation skills, but also the knowledge and beliefs that are important for you to understand and maintain as a teacher.

Recently, more and more yoga and sports instructors are incorporating meditation into their classes to further improve the quality of their classes and differentiate themselves from the competition.

Counselors, for example, are using mindfulness meditation as a way to add to their existing skills to help their clients heal.

You could also work as a teacher at our company once you are certified. (Employment tests are available.)

Course Outline

Subjects to be covered:

  • Anxiety and stress.

  • How to prepare yourself through mindfulness

  • Learning more about meditation

  • How to teach meditation and make it your career

  • How to put mindfulness to work

  • What to do if you've tried meditation before but couldn't follow through with it

  • Beginners are welcome (no previous meditation experience is required)

Course material:

  • A 68-page text and an online starter kit (Mala for Mantra Meditation)

  • You can choose to attend sessions in the studio or via live, real-time online sessions (ZOOM) with direct interaction and Q&A with Nirmal.

Day1.

In an easy-to-understand format for beginners as well as for those who have already been meditating on their own, we will learn about what meditation is, how it began and how it has changed over time as well as the overall benefits of meditation. In the afternoon, we will learn about the different types of meditation and its unique benefits, in particular, we will be introduced to the specific practice of mindfulness meditation and how to incorporate it into our daily lives. This course will provide a fresh look at meditation even for those who have experienced it in the past.

 

Before each meditation, we will do some stretches, nasal breathing and Soham breathing to get your mind and body into the right state for meditation.

Day 2.

Day 3.

The second day's classroom session will provide a solid grounding in how to prepare for and observe entry into meditation in order to make it easier to begin meditating. You will also be introduced to a variety of tips on how to use meditation in your daily life and how to apply it to business success. The afternoon lecture will cover the importance and role of the breath and will deepen your understanding of the Yoga Nidra, the ultimate in relaxation. This will be followed by the practice of Yoga Nidra to experience a sense of stability and de-stressing in the mind and body.

On the third day, we will learn how to make meditation a habit to keep. By the afternoon, we will have an in-depth understanding of mantra meditation and will all actually meditate with a mantra to experience the stillness of the mind. There will be plenty of time to practice the meditation techniques you have learned so far to make them your own. Each session is also an important time for the group to share their questions and impressions, and to deepen their understanding.

Day 4.

In the morning classroom session, we will be introduced to scientific data on how the brain works during meditation. We will also learn how meditation can be used in society and the various uses of meditation. In the practice session, you will learn about Tratak meditation and how to improve your mind's ability to focus. You will learn about the properties, colors, mantras, elements and effects of each of the seven chakras, and then will practice chakra meditation. At the end of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Profile

Nirmal entered the world of yoga at age 9 back in his homeland Nepal, inspired by his grandfather Yogacharya Dr. Kashi Raj Uphadhayaya, the founder and owner of Arogya Ashram Nepal near the holy temple of Pashupati Nath.

At 15 he began his yogic career instructing Nepalese royalty and governmental officials. Nirmal completed his diploma in Hatha Yoga and Naturopathy at age 17 and at 22 he received his Ph.D. in Yoga Meditation while studying Business Management at the prestigious Tribhuvan University in Nepal.

An entrepreneur, professional educator and meditation researcher, Nirmal has lectured and taught in 20 countries for almost 30 years and has trained over 100 yoga and meditation teachers since coming to Japan in 2003. He founded Suwaru Corporation in 2019.

He offers numerous meditation and mindfulness techniques as well as the Nirmal Method of Mindfulness Meditation.

He has had books published by Shogakukan, and has appeared in numerous media outlets including TED.
