In this new era of excess information, we all live in a world full of stress. If you feel fatigued even after sleeping, if your mind can't rest, if you can't stop worrying or thinking anxious thoughts, or if you spend your time operating at maximum speed, I recommend mindfulness meditation that can help you reset. Mindfulness meditation is a great way to get away from feeling overwhelmed and can help you to centralize your mind so that you can live in mindfulness in every moment without worrying about past or future events.
It also allows you to make better choices in your daily life by maintaining a simple and clear state of mind. The Nirmal Method of Mindfulness Meditation balances the left and right hemispheres of your brain, bringing your outward-focused awareness inward to the present moment, calming your mind and achieving stillness.
Since scientific evidence demonstrating the benefits of meditation on the mind and body was first published in the United States, meditation has been adopted by many executives, business people and IT professionals, including Steve Jobs.

Nirmal Raj Gyawali
Nirmal entered the world of yoga at age 9 back in his homeland Nepal and at age 15 he began his yogic career instructing Nepalese royalty and governmental officials. Nirmal completed his diploma in Hatha Yoga and Naturopathy and received his Ph.D. in Yoga Meditation while studying Business Management at the prestigious Tribhuvan University in Nepal.
An entrepreneur, professional educator and meditation researcher, Nirmal has lectured and taught in 20 countries for almost 30 years and has trained over 100 yoga and meditation teachers since coming to Japan in 2003. He founded suwaru Corporation in 2019.
He offers numerous meditation and mindfulness techniques as well as the Nirmal Method of Mindfulness Meditation.

Ground, Balance, Awaken Your Deeper Self during this 2.5-hour workshop offered in April & May
Explore ways to harmonize with the refreshing and uplifting energy of spring, and connect more deeply to yourself through a series of meditation practices and working with your own energy points in the body, the chakras.
Each workshop will include practices to:
- ground your awareness in the “now” through the physical body and strengthen the flow of life force energy through meditation in movement with breathing, gentle stretch, asana
- enhance your sense of self-acceptance, engage and awaken your deeper instinct and knowing through guided visualization meditation
- restore, awaken energy, and find balance through third eye deeper mediation
- post-practice talk circle with refreshments from Sky High Juice (https://skyhigh-tokyo.jp/)
Our focus will be on grounding through the root chakra (muladhara) influencing the sense of security and survival, charging the solar plexus (manipura) connected to personal power and self-confidence, opening the heart chakra (anahata) enhancing capacity for self-acceptance, empathy, compassion and tuning into the third eye chakra (anja), the eye of the soul, accessing higher intuition and wisdom.
We will focus on the benefits of meditation and how to incorporate it into your daily life.
Lecture Basic Mindfulness : 2h
Learn what mindfulness is to increase the effectiveness of your meditation.
Practice 3Mindfulness Meditations : 1.5h
You will experience breathing and meditation techniques to change your mind in a short period of time.
Notes on Joining the Meditation Lounge
Session tickets must be purchased in advance from the system at least 30 minutes prior to the session.
We will provide cushions for you to use while you meditate in the studio.
Please wear comfortable clothes when practicing.
There are no changing rooms in the meditation lounge, but you may change your clothes in the restroom.
We have also asked the staff to wear masks to prevent corona contamination.
Unfortunately, water and other beverages are not available, and towels are not loaned out.

How to Enter
To get to the 4th floor of the EAT PLAY WORKS building, please follow the directions below.
Walk 10 meters to the right of the Blue Bottle Coffee. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Go left, past the white counter and take the outside stairs on your right to the 4th floor. You will be greeted by a nice terrace. Open the door and behind it you will find the studio.
